The 500 ml Seachem ParaGuard is a highly effective, aldehyde based medicinal additive that controls and eliminates bacterial, fungal and parasitic outbreaks in freshwater and saltwater environments. Filter safe and non-toxic, the solution contains a synergistic blend of aldehydes, malachite green and fish protective polymers that help to reduce the growth and spread of ectoparasites or fungal, bacterial and viral lesions. The mixture helps to treat and eliminate common ailments such as ich, velvet, fin rot and gill and body flukes, all of which are incredibly discomforting and potentially lethal to your aquatic pets. No formaldehyde or methanol is used in the Seachem ParaGuard formula which means that it will not impact pH balances in addition to being a perfect additive for quarantine tanks and new tanks.
