Jerky Cat Treats

Cat and Dog Jerky Treats are similar in cooking process to Dehydrated Treats but are a world-apart in flavor and textures. Jerky Treats like Dehydrated Dog Treats for instance are heated in a low-heat setting under the same 200 degree temperature settings but for an even longer period of time. The end result, these are even leaner and harder in texture and less moist yet still a nice hard chew texture that's less in toughness than a Dental and Hard Chew.

Typically Jerky Treats aren't blended prior to the Dehydration process rather they're dehydrated whole or raw such as Beef, Chicken, Pork, Turkey etc and they're usually spiced with added sauces that are jaw-dropping in flavor yet they pack extremely high amount of protein. They make for an extremely appetizing snack or treat and that have long shelf-periods as long as they're properly sealed after each use. Since they dry or cook down in the heat they packed with the highest levels of protein in each and every bite and we all know that cats love to gnaw and dogs love to chew so they also meet their much desired cravings.

It's important to note that while these cat snacks are so yummy and chewy try not to over-indulge on these as they're typically higher in sodium (Some are available without sodium or lower in sodium). They're also higher in sugar depending on how much sauce they have, it's always a great option to check to labels before you buy elsewhere.
